Apr 04,25

In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, the arsenal at your disposal is vast, offering a variety of weapons tailored to different playstyles. Among the standard weapons, you'll find unique, named variants that boast special modifications and enhanced power, such as the Cavalier. This distinctive sniper rifle is equipped with a red-dot sight rather than a traditional magnification scope, making it exceptionally effective at short to medium range. Here's a detailed guide on how to secure this special weapon.

How to Get the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

To acquire the Cavalier Sniper Rifle, head to the Military Unit inside the Duga base. The rifle is hidden within a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously explored the Duga base to find the Journalist stash, you'll find it easier to enter through the second entrance.

Getting Inside the Warehouse Near the Military Unit of Duga Base

Upon entering the Duga base, navigate towards the Military Unit building as indicated on your map. You won't need to enter the building itself; instead, proceed around it to reach the greenhouse at the back. Be vigilant, as two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse cautiously to avoid a confrontation with these formidable mutants.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll find yourself in the warehouse. Be prepared for an immediate threat: multiple swarms of rats will spawn and begin to drain your health. To escape the rats, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. Use a grenade to clear out the rat swarm effectively.

Break the Wooden Boards & Grab the Cavalier Rifle

After dealing with the rats, direct your attention to the ceiling above the entryway connecting the greenhouse to the warehouse. You'll notice wooden boards painted yellow. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, causing the Cavalier sniper rifle to drop from above.

Secure the weapon and make a safe exit from the Duga base. To enhance the Cavalier's performance, visit Screw, the technician at Rostok base, for upgrades. The Cavalier offers maximum damage and great accuracy, which can be further improved with additional modifications. For players who prefer not to use a scope on their sniper rifles, the Cavalier is an excellent choice, equipped with a red-dot sight that excels in close to medium range engagements.
