In Stronghold Castles, you take on the role of the Lord or Lady of a medieval village with the mission to transform it into a formidable realm. Your responsibilities encompass farming, mining, weapon production, and resource management. The goal is to ensure your peasants thrive, which might involve strategic taxation—or even a bit of medieval justice like torture. As you progress, you'll construct your castle to your specifications, whether it's a wooden fortress filled with ingenious traps or an imposing stone citadel.

Once your defenses are robust, Stronghold Castles plunges you into thrilling PvP battles. You'll lead knights, archers, and men-at-arms to defeat rival lords and plunder their resources. Your overarching objective is to restore your Manor Hall to its former grandeur.

The game reintroduces iconic foes from the Stronghold series, such as the Rat, Pig, Snake, and Wolf. These battles are designed to be quick and tactical, allowing you to besiege other players' castles, pillage their resources, and use your loot to further enhance your kingdom.
