Week two of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is underway, sending players on a thrilling scavenger hunt. But one seemingly simple task—studying a Historical Display—is proving surprisingly tricky for some. Here's how to overcome this hurdle.

One of Week 2's quests requires you to study a Historical Display in a museum. Long-time players will likely know their local museum's location. New players should check their map for a building icon depicting pillars. While four museums exist in the default game, the Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs are conveniently located near other Blast from the Past tasks.

How to Study a Historical Display

Once you've arrived at a museum, enter and locate a Historical Display. Both paintings and sculptures qualify. Select the display and choose the "View" option. The quest should be completed upon viewing, indicated by the Emit icon.

Despite the quest's simplicity, many players report encountering issues. Mods appear to be interfering, preventing the "View" option from functioning. Some players have even removed all mods without success. While we await an official fix from EA, try viewing multiple items in different museums.
