What is Suikoden I & II HD Remaster?

Originally released in Japan in 1995 and 1998 for the PlayStation, Suikoden I & II made their way to the West a year later. The series centers on recruiting 108 warriors to build an army and fight against evil forces. The HD Remaster retains the charm of the original pixelated graphics while enhancing them for modern wide-screen displays. Spell effects have been redone for smoother visuals, and character portraits are now in HD.

In addition to graphical enhancements, the remaster introduces several quality-of-life features such as the ability to speed up battles, an auto-battle mode, auto-save, a conversation log, and a revamped user interface for easier equipment management.
