Balancing their heroic duties with their familial bonds, they must defend Earth from the voracious space god Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). Their struggle becomes intensely personal when Galactus's planet-devouring scheme threatens everything.

Speculation abounds among fans regarding Robert Downey Jr.'s potential return as Doctor Doom, either in The Fantastic Four: First Steps or through a teaser. Feige has confirmed the Fantastic Four's appearances in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
