Apple’s build quality is top-notch, exuding luxury despite the lack of vibrant color options. The screen is impressive, combining high brightness and contrast with smooth motion thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate. While Apple claims the Ceramic Shield glass is durable, I found it prone to scratches, so protective measures are advisable.

The cameras on the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are impressive. The main sensor excels in low-light conditions, often challenging for smartphone cameras. The ultra-wide lens captures more in the frame but struggled slightly with softness and noise during my tests, likely due to a focusing issue (manual focus can help). The 5x telephoto lens is invaluable for portrait shots with natural bokeh or getting close to distant subjects. The new Camera Control feature simplifies photo settings, though Apple still has room for improvement in future updates.

Although the A18 trails the A18 Pro by a small margin, it still outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip found in many Android phones.

With such strong performance, the iPhone 16 handles everyday tasks and demanding games like Wuthering Waves effortlessly. Even after prolonged gaming sessions, the phone remains comfortable to hold.

This model offers more colorful design options, though you can also choose from classic black or white. Like other models, the iPhone 16 includes Ceramic Shield for protection, but additional cases are recommended for added security. Its smaller width makes it easier to grip and pocket-friendly compared to the bulkier Pro Max models.

Though you won’t enjoy the extra smoothness of the 120Hz refresh rate found on Pro models, the iPhone 16’s display is still excellent. It’s sharp for a 6.1-inch screen and features a vibrant OLED panel. Paired with powerful speakers, watching videos on the phone is an enjoyable experience.

The main camera on the iPhone 16 produces beautiful photos with vivid colors and sufficient lighting even in dim environments. While the ultra-wide and selfie cameras perform adequately, they sometimes suffer from softness, likely due to a focus issue, similar to the Pro models. Apple may address this in future updates.
