Netmarble's Tower of God: New World, inspired by the beloved webtoon series, is gearing up for an exciting update that introduces two new characters and a novel grading system. This update also includes the Pioneer's Remnant System, designed for dedicated players who have mastered the challenges within the tower.

The first new character, Xia Xia, enters the fray as an SSR+ Elite Spy with the Red Element, tagged as both a Support and a Light Bearer. Her skill set is a compelling blend of powerful AoE support and HP recovery, making her a valuable asset for any team. On the other hand, Zahard, an Adventurer with the Green Element and Warrior and Fisherman tags, makes his debut as the inaugural XSR+ grade character in Tower of God: New World.

The introduction of the XSR+ grade aims to differentiate characters that are either an IF (imaginary) version of an SSR+ character or feature an alternate appearance. Although they may share animations and skills with their SSR+ counterparts, the new Revolution skills set them apart significantly.

These new characters are further enhanced by the addition of the Pioneer's Remnant System. By clearing Hard Mode, players can earn the titular resource, which can be exchanged for growth materials and other rewards, ideal for those who have already conquered the toughest stages.
