Turn-Based Tactical Warfare Wargroove 2 Drops a Pocket Edition Globally
Discover Chucklefish’s celebrated turn-based strategy game now available on mobile devices. Wargroove 2: Pocket Edition has officially launched globally for Android. Following Wildfrost, this marks their third major release on the platform, inviting you to wage war across Aurania.
What is new in Wargroove 2: Pocket Edition?
The narrative resumes three years after Queen Mercia and her allies restored peace to Aurania. A foreign faction has begun excavating forbidden technologies, posing a threat that could tear the world apart once more.
The game presents three interwoven storylines, each featuring new alliances, revenge arcs, and difficult moral decisions for you to navigate.
The roster of characters has expanded significantly, now including over 20 commanders across six warring factions. Among the fresh additions are the inquisitive mouse-folk of the Faahri Republic, an academic society that balances its lack of combat experience with crystal-powered technology and strategic mastery.
Commanders Lytra, Pistil, and Rhomb lead the Faahri faction. Every commander’s signature move, known as Groove, has been redesigned using a new tiered system. This allows you to supercharge your abilities for devastating effects when the timing is perfect.

Explore new game modes ---------------------Wargrove 2 features a roguelike Conquest mode where every decision matters. Health, gold reserves, and surviving units carry over from one skirmish to the next. Additionally, you can utilize the built-in editor to create custom maps, cutscenes, and campaigns with adjustable rulesets.
Multiplayer remains a core component of the experience. Local matches utilize a straightforward hot-seat setup where players pass the device back and forth. Online battles support up to four participants, featuring cross-platform play between different versions of Wargroove 2.
