Pokemon GO Unveils New Unova Tour Pass: Rewards and Milestones Await!

Get ready, trainers! A brand-new Tour Pass is launching for Pokémon GO's upcoming Unova event, running from February 24th to March 9th. This pass unlocks exciting rewards and progression milestones.

Level up your Tour Pass by earning Tour Points through various in-game activities, including catching Pokémon, completing raids, and more. Both a free and a deluxe version of the Tour Pass will be available.

The Pokémon GO Tour, an annual event celebrating a specific Pokémon region, is this year focused on Unova (Generation 5). Expect Unova-themed wild encounters, raids, and egg hatches. Past GO Tours have featured Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2022), introducing shiny Pokémon and unique variants.

This year's Unova-themed Tour Pass, available from February 24th, 10 am to March 2nd, 6 pm local time, offers a free track. Progress is made by accumulating Tour Points via daily tasks, Pokémon catches, raid completion, and egg hatching. Milestones along the way reward players with in-game items like Candy and Stickers. Reaching the final milestone grants a special encounter with Zorua. Remember, all rewards expire on March 9th at 6 pm.

Pokémon GO's Unova GO Tour: A Deluxe Pass Option

Alongside the free Tour Pass, a deluxe version is available for $14.99 (or $19.99 with 10 ranks unlocked) on the Pokémon GO Webstore, from February 24th, 10 am to March 2nd, 6 pm. This deluxe pass includes all rewards from both the free and paid tracks, plus an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini and a new Lucky Trinket. This unique item transforms a chosen friend into a Lucky Friend, guaranteeing a Lucky Pokémon on your next trade, then resetting the Lucky Friend status. Like the free pass, deluxe pass rewards (including the Lucky Trinket) expire on March 9th at 6 pm.

The Unova Tour Pass promises to heighten anticipation for the main event, which features the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, mirroring Necrozma's introduction in last year's Sinnoh GO Tour. Shiny Meloetta will also make its debut via ticketed Masterwork Research.
