How Does The Terminator Event Work in Black Ops 6 & Warzone?

The Terminator event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone operates similarly to the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event from the Holiday Season. Instead of being based on XP or challenges, this event revolves around collecting a special currency called Skulls during matches, which you can then trade for rewards in the event tab. Skulls are thematically linked to the T-800’s lethal nature and skeletal design.

Skulls are earned through eliminations in Multiplayer and Zombies, or by opening caches in Warzone. To collect a Skull, players must walk over it after it drops. You can keep track of your Skulls in the pause menu or The Terminator event tab.

It's worth noting that not every elimination or cache opening guarantees a Skull. Their drop seems somewhat random, so stay vigilant after each action and listen for the distinct audio cues that signal when Skulls are spawned and picked up.

How To Earn Skulls Fast in The Terminator Event in Call of Duty

Given the randomness of Skull drops, the key to progressing quickly in the event is to maximize your opportunities for eliminations and cache openings. Here are the most effective strategies for each mode in Call of Duty:

• Black Ops 6 Multiplayer: Opt for Kill Confirmed on smaller maps like Nuketown to boost your chances.
• Black Ops 6 Zombies: Use the Rampage Inducer and focus on early rounds (before Round 6) in maps like Liberty Falls or The Tomb. Utilize GobbleGums such as Hidden Power, Crate Power, or Wall Power to enhance your weapon and speed up zombie kills.
• Warzone: Focus on opening as many chests as possible in Resurgence, especially in Solos mode. However, be aware that unopened caches become scarcer as the match progresses, unlike in Zombies where spawns increase with rounds.

Our tests revealed that the most efficient way to farm Skulls is through early round-based Zombies with the Rampage Inducer active, closely followed by early matches in Resurgence. Keep in mind that Skull spawn rates may slow down after collecting around your 10th Skull in a match and can be inconsistent.
