How to Romance Caldarus

To pursue Caldarus' romance path, players must break the Fire Seal located on Mine Floor 60. The ritual requires four offerings: a Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot.

After completing this ritual, a dramatic cutscene unfolds where the Mines Priestess warns your farmer character about being trapped. As your health dwindles, Caldarus intervenes in human form, granting you the Dragon's Breath spell before retreating to the Deep Woods. This transformation makes him available for daily interactions and gift-giving like other romanceable NPCs.

Heart Events & Festival Dating

Currently, Caldarus starts at maximum 6 hearts when unlocked (March 2025 early access version). His story progresses through key moments:

• Initial dream sequence introducing Mistria's magic system
• Rescue scene after breaking the Fire Seal
• Special date during the Shooting Star Festival (Summer 28)

For the festival date, gift Caldarus a Star Brooch before 8 PM on Summer 28 to trigger a philosophical conversation about soul connections and past lives at the Summit, culminating in stargazing at his temple.
