"Next Update Brings Jukebox and New Building"
Schedule 1 continues to build momentum as one of the most popular early access titles on Steam, and with good reason. The game’s solo developer, Tyler from TVGS, has been hard at work preparing exciting new content for fans. In a recent Twitter (X) post dated May 1, Tyler offered a sneak peek into the next major update, giving players a taste of what’s coming soon. The upcoming patch is already in the final stages of development and will soon enter open beta testing.
What's New in the Next Update?
Among the highlights revealed are several fresh additions that promise to enhance gameplay and immersion. One of the most eye-catching elements is the introduction of a brand-new building labeled "Stash and Dash." While details remain scarce, the name hints at potential gameplay mechanics tied to looting or fast-paced objectives. Fans are eager to uncover what this mysterious location brings to the table.
Another standout feature is the addition of a Jukebox. Though its exact functionality hasn’t been confirmed, many speculate it could allow players to customize or switch between in-game music tracks—a small but impactful touch that could elevate the overall atmosphere during gameplay sessions.
The update also includes visual enhancements such as a newly designed corridor, suggesting further improvements to level design and player navigation. While no official release date has been announced yet, those interested can opt into the beta branch via Steam to get early access. Simply go to your Steam settings for Schedule 1 and change your Beta participation to “beta” to stay ahead of the curve. More updates can be tracked through the game’s official Trello board, where future plans and patch notes are regularly posted.
Future Map Expansion Plans
In addition to near-term updates, Tyler recently hosted his first-ever dev stream on Twitch, offering fans an inside look at long-term development goals. During the live session, he discussed ambitious ideas for expanding the game world, including the creation of a "swampy, slummy" district that contrasts with the more upscale parts of town. He also expressed interest in extending the affluent side of the map, adding more cliffside housing for increased environmental diversity.
Looking even further ahead, Tyler mentioned plans to develop the mysterious island visible from the main map. While these expansions are still far off due to the nature of solo development, the roadmap promises significant growth for the game over time. Players are encouraged to explore the evolving world of Schedule 1 while keeping an eye out for future enhancements.
For now, fans can continue enjoying [ttpp] and eagerly await the next wave of updates. Be sure to follow official channels and community discussions to stay informed about the latest developments in this ever-evolving experience.
