How To Get Weapon Upgrades and Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Weapon Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and More
Jingle Hells, the holiday-themed mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies, introduces unique progression mechanics. This guide details how to upgrade weapons, obtain Ammo Mods, and acquire equipment and support items.
Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells
Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies experience, the Arsenal Machine is absent in Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades are achieved using Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity levels (color-coded). Using an Aether Tool upgrades your weapon to that rarity tier (e.g., a purple Aether Tool upgrades to Legendary). Here's how to obtain Aether Tools:
- Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. This triggers an event, dropping loot, including Aether Tools. Higher rounds yield higher rarity tools.
- Bank Vault: Loot Keys open safety deposit boxes within the Bank Vault, which have a chance to contain Aether Tools.
- S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, aiming for the highest reward tier, offers a chance to acquire Aether Tools.
- Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrade your weapon to Legendary rarity.
- Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as rounds progress.
Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells
Currently, the only Ammo Mod in Jingle Hells is Cryo Freeze. This consumable is primarily found within Holiday Presents. Higher rounds generally yield higher rarity rewards from these presents. Holiday Presents can be obtained in several ways:
- Enemy Kills: Random drops from enemy kills.
- Naughty or Nice Power-up: The stocking-shaped power-up grants either "Nice" (multiple presents) or "Naughty" (vermin enemies) effects.
- S.A.M. Machine: Spawns presents upon its appearance.
Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells
The Workbench is also missing from Jingle Hells, preventing Salvage-based crafting of equipment and support items like Chopper Gunners or Self Revives. However, these items can still be acquired:
- Enemy Kills: Equipment drops from regular enemy kills.
- Holiday Presents: Can contain equipment.
- Special/Elite Enemy Kills: Support items drop from these enemies.
- S.A.M. Trials: Can reward equipment and support.
- Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: May contain equipment and support.
This comprehensive guide provides all the methods for obtaining weapon upgrades, Ammo Mods, equipment, and support in the Jingle Hells mode of Black Ops 6 Zombies.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
