Kuro Games has released a major new update for Wuthering Waves titled "Unfading Melody of Life," introducing a fresh narrative arc, additional characters, and expanded regions to discover. The main story progresses with Chapter II Act VII: "Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens," alongside the Overture mission "Rust, Sword and the Sun."

Expanding the post-cataclysmic sci-fi RPG world

In tandem with the new questline, players can now access an entirely new zone—the Fabricatorium of the Deep. This area invites adventurers to uncover forgotten lore within its atmospheric and enigmatic surroundings.

Making her debut in this update is Phrolova, a 5-Star Havoc Resonator. As the Overseer of the Fractsidus, she presents a theatrical persona—complete with musical motifs, an eye-covering bandage, and the ability to summon Hecate from a spectral throne.

By accumulating Volatile Notes, Phrolova activates her Resonance Liberation, transitioning into the Maestro state. During this phase, she becomes impervious to direct damage while Hecate assumes control of the battlefield. Her introduction also heralds the upcoming Phase I and Phase II featured Resonator Convene banners: "Requiem Without End," "Stage in the Box," "Neptune’s Lullaby," and "Blaze Across the Deep."

The update also welcomes back the 5-Star Havoc Resonator Roccia in the "Stage in the Box" Convene. Recognized as the First Mate of the Fool’s Troupe, she enters the fray accompanied by her stage partner, Pero.

Introducing a new Echo set

Joining the Echo roster is the Phantom Echo Nightmare Inferno Rider, alongside other additions such as Reminiscence: Fenrico, Nightmare: Hecate, Nightmare: Tambourinist, Nightmare: Galcio Predator, and Nightmare: Havoc Warrior.

New gear sets have also arrived. The Dream of the Lost Sonata Effect enhances Crit Rate and boosts Echo Skill DMG when the wielder’s Resonance Energy is low.

A variety of in-game events are now underway, including "The Gifts of Grand Symphony" 7-Day Login Event. Players can also participate in the Phantasma Dreamland Echo Dreamland Leisure Event, the Dreaming Deep Solaris Film Festival, the Overflowing Picture Book Leisure Event, the Deep Sea Survey Photo Collection Event, and a fresh Wuthering Exploration challenge set in the Border Mountains.
