With such a rich history of iconic game series from Xbox, Bethesda, and Activision Blizzard, it's exciting to reflect on which ones have left the most significant impact over the years, especially during the glory days of the Xbox 360. For those who've never owned an Xbox console, the prospect of these series potentially coming to other platforms like PlayStation is a thrilling development as Microsoft expands its library to a broader audience.

Here’s a look at my personal tier list of Xbox game series, which spans the vast catalog of titles from Microsoft's acquisitions. This list is based on my enjoyment and the impact these series have had on me over the years. Note that this isn't an exhaustive list of all Xbox game series but focuses on those with significant historical impact and current relevance.

Simon Cardy's Xbox Games Series Tier List

S Tier:

• Doom: The recent entries have solidified Doom's place as one of the best first-person shooters out there. The anticipation for Doom: The Dark Ages is high, as id Software continues to push the boundaries of the genre.
• Forza Horizon: Outside of the Burnout series, Forza Horizon stands out as one of the best racing games I've ever played, offering an exhilarating open-world experience.

A Tier:

• Halo: While Halo 2 and 3 are among the finest campaign shooters ever made, recent entries have been inconsistent, keeping it just out of the top tier.
• Fallout: I'm more of a Fallout fan than an Elder Scrolls enthusiast. There's something about the post-apocalyptic world and the power armor that resonates with me more than dragons and fantasy realms.
