To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is letting fans vote on the next line of official merchandise! A whopping 100 items are up for grabs, with the top two vote-getters promised for release within the next two years. The poll is currently only available in Japanese, but you can cast your vote on the official website.

The options range from the expected (like a 20th-anniversary hoodie or pencil case) to the utterly bizarre, drawing heavily on the series' famously outlandish history.

Among the more unusual choices are Munan Suzuki's cult outfit from Yakuza 0, the giant traffic cone Majima uses in Yakuza Kiwami, and the intriguingly named "Puffy Gold Pants." Other options include Majima's sake cup from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Akiyama's gold watch, Kiryu's fountain pen from Yakuza 6, Kashiwagi's tambourine from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Kiryu's wrestling mask from Yakuza 3, and Saejima's prison uniform from Yakuza 4. The list goes on!

2025 will see at least one new game release to mark the anniversary: Like a Dragon: Pirate of the Caribbean (err, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth) arrives on February 21st. While a second release is unconfirmed, RGG Studio's prolific output in recent years (nine games in the last five years alone!) suggests it's not entirely out of the question. Their history of celebrating milestones with significant releases (like Yakuza 0 for the 10th anniversary) makes this a highly anticipated event for fans.
