One of the first significant challenges players will face is Dularn, but the real test comes with Ellefale, The Azure Queen of Death. It's crucial for players to keep their distance from this formidable boss, as close proximity increases the likelihood of taking damage from her powerful attacks.

Ellefale can withstand a substantial amount of damage even on normal difficulty, and the challenge intensifies on higher settings. However, with the right strategy and the Ignis Bracelet, overcoming her is achievable.

How to Beat Ellefale, The Azure Queen of Death

To prepare for this battle, players should engage in some grinding to ensure their health exceeds 100. Utilizing Raval Ore to upgrade armor is advisable, though it's wise to reserve some for future, more significant upgrades.

Rushing into the fight is ill-advised. Ellefale's position at the start of the battle is just out of reach of basic attacks, making a direct assault risky and ineffective. Instead, players should utilize the Ignis Bracelet to shoot fireballs from a safe distance. Staying at the far end of the arena minimizes the risk of being hit, as Ellefale's attacks, though limited in variety, are potent and can quickly deplete health.

Ellefale's attacks, while not numerous, can restrict player movement within the arena, making positioning crucial. Here are the four attacks in her arsenal:

• A spinning disc attack
• A vertical slashing attack
• Multiple strikes of lightning
• A slow-moving spinning sphere

Spinning Disc

Ellefale's spinning disc attack is launched towards the player from her position. Dodging this requires precise timing; jumping too early or too late will result in damage. The attack is telegraphed by Ellefale raising her right arm, adding intensity to the battle.

Vertical Slash

The vertical slash is easier to evade; simply moving left or right suffices. However, players must be prepared to handle multiple attacks simultaneously, such as jumping to avoid a spinning disc while moving sideways. This move is also signaled by Ellefale raising her right arm.

Lightning Strike

The lightning strike is Ellefale's most challenging attack to dodge. When she leans forward, players should charge towards her. As she raises both arms, retreat to the opposite end of the arena and jump. Running or jumping towards Ellefale during this attack will result in being hit, but jumping while retreating ensures safety from the lightning beams.

Spinning Sphere

The spinning sphere slowly advances towards the player, potentially limiting safe areas within the arena. While easy to outrun on its own, it becomes problematic when combined with other projectiles, potentially trapping players. Ellefale signals this move by raising both her wings.
