A leaked Zenless Zone Zero update reveals a new event featuring a Fall Guys-style multiplayer platformer game mode for Version 1.5, slated for late January. This temporary event, tentatively titled "Grand Marcel," will offer a refreshing change of pace from the primarily battle-focused gameplay introduced in Version 1.4. The leak, originating from community leaker Palito, includes screenshots showcasing stages reminiscent of Fall Guys.
While the leak doesn't confirm whether players will utilize their main characters or Bangboo avatars, the event is expected to provide attractive rewards, including Polychromes and potentially additional free pulls, as previously rumored. This isn't HoYoverse's first foray into platformer events; Honkai Impact 3rd's "Midnight Chronicle" event in 2022 featured similar gameplay.
Version 1.5 will also introduce highly anticipated characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, alongside potential additions such as Nicole's first character skin and a new Agent Story for Ellen. The update is currently scheduled for January 22nd.
