Control 2 Achieves Production Readiness
The highly anticipated sequel, Control 2, has reached a crucial milestone: production readiness. This signifies a fully playable version exists, and the development team is now scaling up production, focusing on rigorous testing, performance optimization, and ensuring the game meets quality standards. Concurrently, the Control Ultimate Edition, developed in partnership with Apple, is slated for release on Apple silicon Macs later this year.
Codename Condor in Full Swing
Codename Condor, the Control universe multiplayer spin-off, is currently in full production. The team is actively developing multiple maps and mission types, undergoing both internal and limited external playtesting to refine gameplay and gather feedback. This marks Remedy's first foray into live-service games, and it will launch with a "service-based fixed price" model.
Alan Wake 2 and Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake Updates
Following positive critical and player reception of Alan Wake 2's Night Springs expansion, Remedy confirmed the game has largely recouped its development and marketing costs.
