Atomic Heart Reaches 10M Players, New DLC Planned

Oct 25,25

Atomic Heart surpasses 10 million players milestone two years post-launch.

Though this metric reflects player count rather than sales figures, it remains a noteworthy accomplishment for Mundfish's debut title.

Available across PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms, Atomic Heart reportedly "captivated audiences as an unexpected AAA breakthrough from an unproven studio," establishing "new benchmarks for visual fidelity and cinematic storytelling in first-person shooters." The title garnered more than 60 Game of the Year honors and has since expanded with three narrative DLC packs, plus an additional expansion currently in development.

Released in February 2023, Atomic Heart presents a first-person shooter adventure set during "the Soviet Union's technological heyday" in an alternate history timeline. Our reviewers praised the experience with an 8/10 score, noting: "Atomic Heart delivers a brilliantly creative, atompunk-fueled spiritual successor to franchises like BioShock - while occasionally stumbling, its ambitious vision punches far above its weight class."

The development team has recently established Mundfish Powerhouse, a new publishing support service designed to assist creators and investors in bringing "exceptional gaming projects to market."
