Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is invading Fortnite Chapter 6, offering players a unique challenge: become Godzilla or defeat him. This guide details both strategies.

Becoming Godzilla:

Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the Battle Royale island each game. Be the first to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!

For the 99 players who don't become Godzilla, a fierce battle awaits. Godzilla has weak points; hitting them repeatedly will drop Godzilla Fragments, granting 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key!

The Rail Gun returns for this event, offering a potent weapon against Godzilla. High-rarity weapons are also effective. The player inflicting the most damage on Godzilla receives the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher—a fantastic consolation prize.
