Early in Freedom Wars Remastered's main storyline, you'll need to locate the Cell Garden within your Panopticon. This location subsequently serves as a safer, more controlled environment for resource farming compared to standard operations.
While multiple Cell Gardens exist throughout the game, accessing each one follows a consistent pattern regardless of your current level. Below, we detail how to find any Cell Garden and explain its resource-gathering mechanics.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered
Your initial task, given by Mattias, involves investigating a ghost girl story, leading you to the Cell Garden. To access it, navigate to Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). In the block's left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interacting with this room transports you to 2-E165 (Enzo's location).
From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process once more; the final room in 2-G100 houses the device that unlocks the Cell Garden.
This pathway to the Cell Garden remains consistent across all levels. Acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. Post-completion of the main Cell Garden quest, access becomes unrestricted, but obtaining a specific Entitlement is highly recommended.
Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.
How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered
The main story mission involving the Cell Garden differs from its subsequent uses. Here's how it operates outside the main quest:
- A one-minute time limit is enforced before expulsion.
- The room's layout changes with each entry.
- Eight resources, depicted as small green orbs, are scattered throughout the room.
To extend your Cell Garden time, consider purchasing Entitlements from the Liberty Window. Some layouts present puzzles that can complicate resource acquisition. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute time limit, becomes available at CODE level 3.
