A substantial new chapter is coming to Genshin Impact. Far from a minor patch, miHoYo has designated this release as Version Luna I! Officially titled Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue, it launches on September 10th and will unfold an ongoing story spanning an entire year.

The headline addition is the new region of Nod-Krai, which expands the world of Teyvat and unveils lunar mysteries. You'll become entangled in rising factional tensions, encounter three new companions, and even channel an ancient power originating from the moon.

Nod-Krai introduces three new playable characters. First is Lauma the Moonchanter, a five-star Catalyst user who enhances the party's Bloom-reaction damage and can transform into a half-human, half-deer form. Then there's Flins, a five-star Polearm wielder, who deals massive damage using powerful lightning assaults.

Completing the new roster is Aino, a four-star Hydro Claymore user. By mastering her inventive gadgets, you can recruit Aino to your team for free simply by finishing the new Archon Quests in Nod-Krai.
