Fans of "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" were thrilled to see new figures featured in this latest lineup. Nightsister Merrin receives a new figure, while the game's protagonist, Cal Kestis, is part of a captivating three-pack set alongside Turgle and Skoova Stev. Notably, Cal's figure comes with multiple interchangeable heads, including one sporting a handlebar mustache. According to Houle, this distinctive look was a key focus for the release.

"Honestly, we just wanted to have fun with it," Houle shares with IGN. "This is one of my favorite packs that we unveiled at the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and the mullet, then added the clean-cut and short beard options later. So for us, the primary look is almost the handlebar, and it's just so much fun."

As for Merrin, her inclusion was a natural choice given her significance in the "Fallen Order/Survivor" saga. The challenge lay in accurately representing her unique Force abilities.

"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," Reiff explains. "We're thrilled to finally bring Merrin to life, but capturing that Force effect, the green blast, and all the intricate details of her new costume and face tattoos with inkjet printing was a task. She's a really cool character, and we know fans are invested in her story and eager to see more of this world."

This year's lineup also features two iconic characters, Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite the numerous iterations of these figures over the years, Houle insists there's still room for improvement.

"We haven't revisited them in a long time," Houle remarks. "They needed an update, so we crafted them with fully new tools, incorporating the latest articulation technology to ensure fans can enjoy these classic characters with modern enhancements. We've also made significant updates to their design. We've learned a lot from our previous Wookiee figures, particularly in managing their long hair."

Houle continues, "Despite the long hair, using softer plastics allows Chewbacca to pivot and move his head seamlessly, which was crucial for us. We've also added articulation to Han, but we avoided a thigh break to keep the red stripes on his right thigh intact. Instead, we added articulation at the top of the boot to maintain that clean look."

No figure in this lineup captures attention quite like The Ronin, inspired by the "Star Wars: Visions" anime anthology series. The Ronin is a striking black-and-white figure, with his red katana lightsaber providing the only splash of color. As a Celebration-exclusive release, both Houle and Reiff were meticulous about getting the details right.

"I love that we stayed true to the design," Houle states. "We drew inspiration from Japanese culture for the packaging, creating a premium look with magnetic openings and a clean aesthetic. The watercoloring and hidden accessories on the top of the box add to the experience. We paid meticulous attention to every aspect from packaging to design and engineering."

Reiff adds, "For this exclusive packaging, we included Japanese language, which we typically don't do. But given that we're here in Japan, we wanted to fully embrace the culture and create a special package in Japanese language as well."

Lastly, Hasbro also delighted fans of the 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line by revealing a meticulously detailed Death Trooper helmet during their Celebration panel.

"It's a brand new tooled helmet for the Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff says. "It looks like it's straight out of the movie, with weathering and lighting details. You press a button on the side to control the chin lights and the specter sensor lights. It's an excellent addition to our line. We worked closely with Lucasfilm using original files to capture all the helmet's details accurately and added our own enhancements to the interior, which the original helmets didn't have."
