Developer Sway State Games has unveiled Into a Hearth Yonder, an upcoming cozy creature-collecting MMO-lite featuring vibrant visuals, scheduled for PC release next year.

In Into a Hearth Yonder, players will traverse the world of Viteria accompanied by automata companions - adorable mechanical allies that enhance various activities including combat, resource gathering, and crafting. "We wanted to visualize player progression through collectible, Tamagotchi-inspired automata," explained Sway State studio head Chris O'Kelly. "Players nurture these companions, and in exchange, they unlock gameplay enhancements tailored to individual playstyles."

"Our vision was crafting a relaxed adventure where players progress at their own rhythm through building, crafting, and exploration," O'Kelly continued. "It's survival gameplay distilled to its most peaceful essence - pure comfort gaming."

The development team includes veterans from notable titles like Divinity: Original Sin, Dying Light 2, Harold Halibut, and Horizon: Call of the Mountain. Into a Hearth Yonder is currently available for wishlisting on Steam.
