Unlocking Ascendancies in Path of Exile 2: A Comprehensive Guide

Path of Exile 2's Early Access release has players eager to explore the depth of their chosen classes. While not a core game mechanic, Ascendancies offer unique specializations and abilities. This guide details how to unlock and utilize these powerful enhancements.

Unlocking Ascendancy Classes

To unlock Ascendancy Classes, players must first complete a specific Trial of Ascendancy. Currently, the Early Access build offers two options: the Act 2 Trial of the Sekhemas or the Act 3 Trial of Chaos. Completing either trial for the first time rewards you with Ascendancy Class selection and two passive Ascendancy Points. The earlier Act 2 trial is generally recommended for quicker access to enhanced abilities.
