Pokémon GO's March 2025 Community Day Lineup and Beloved Buddies Event Details

The March 2025 Pokémon GO Community Day extravaganza kicks off with Fuecoco, the fiery croc Pokémon! This article covers the event details, upcoming Community Day dates, and the rewards from the concurrent Beloved Buddies event.

Fuecoco's Fiery Community Day Debut

Fuecoco takes center stage on March 8th, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (local time). Expect increased Fuecoco spawns and boosted shiny rates. Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) during the event week unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Skeledirge also learns Torch Song, without time restrictions.

A special Timed Research event runs until March 15th, 10:00 pm (local time), offering a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background and further enhanced shiny odds. For $2.00, a Community Day Special Research ticket grants three Fuecoco encounters (also with Seasonal Special Backgrounds), Battle Passes, and Rare Candies. This ticket is giftable to Great Friends or higher.

March and Beyond: Community Day Calendar Unveiled

Pokémon GO has announced Community Day dates extending through May:

• Saturday, May 24th, 2025 (Community Day Classic)

"Community Day Classic" events revisit past Community Day Pokémon, offering another chance to catch them. While the featured Pokémon for the remaining dates are yet to be revealed, anticipation is high!

Beloved Buddies Event: Candela or Arlo?

The Beloved Buddies event, featuring Dhelmise, includes Timed Research with branching paths: one focused on building your Buddy Pokémon relationship with Candela (Team Valor), the other on catching Pokémon and battling Arlo (Team GO Rocket). Both paths offer Ultra Balls, Remoraid, and Mantine encounters initially.

Candela's Path Rewards: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

Arlo's Path Rewards: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
