Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 DRM or Denuvo Requirements?

In a recent FAQ, Saber Interactive clarified that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, launching September 9th, will not utilize DRM such as Denuvo. While DRM is frequently used to combat piracy, its impact on game performance has been a source of contention among gamers.

Although the game will be DRM-free, Saber Interactive confirmed the use of Easy Anti-Cheat software on PC. Easy Anti-Cheat has faced scrutiny in the past, notably in relation to an Apex Legends hacking incident.

Furthermore, the developers have currently ruled out official mod support. Despite this, players can anticipate a PvP arena, horde mode, and a comprehensive photo mode. Importantly, Saber Interactive assures players that all core gameplay elements will be accessible without additional cost; microtransactions and DLC will be limited to cosmetic items only.
