Nintendo has exciting news for fans of classic gaming: the beloved Game Boy Advance title, Wario Land 4, is set to join the Nintendo Switch Online library on February 14. Announced with an engaging trailer, this game will be accessible at no additional cost to those with a Nintendo Switch Online membership who have also purchased the Expansion Pass.

The synopsis of Wario Land 4 sets the stage for an adventurous tale: "The misguided Wario is back, and this time he's in search of riches. Ignoring all warning signs, Wario decides to enter a cursed pyramid that's rumored to house a bunch of gold and jewels. Our anti-hero quickly learns that the curse is no joke, realizing that he'll be lucky to escape alive."

The game features 20 massive stages for players to conquer. Throughout the adventure, players can collect gold and treasure, which can be used to purchase bonus items after each stage. Additionally, Wario Land 4 offers a variety of delightful mini-games for players to enjoy, providing a break from the main quest.

Upon its release in 2001, Wario Land 4 received high acclaim, scoring a 9/10 from IGN. The review praised the game's design for its variety and challenging nature, noting that it stands out from typical side-scrolling games by encouraging players to figure out how to navigate to specific locations within the levels.
