Witcher Former Devs' Upcoming Dark Fantasy Action RPG To Be Published by Bandai NamcoThis collaboration, announced earlier this week, sees Bandai Namco take on global publishing duties for Dawnwalker, the first installment in Rebel Wolves' ambitious RPG saga. Launching in 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox, Dawnwalker promises a mature, story-driven AAA experience set in a dark fantasy medieval Europe. Expect more information in the coming months. Established in Warsaw in 2022, Rebel Wolves aims to redefine the RPG genre with its narrative focus.

"Rebel Wolves, a studio blending seasoned expertise with fresh perspectives, aligns perfectly with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe's commitment to RPGs and new IPs," said Rebel Wolves' chief publishing officer, Tomasz Tinc. "We share a vision, and their history with narrative-driven RPGs speaks volumes. We're thrilled to collaborate and bring the Dawnwalker saga to players worldwide."

Bandai Namco views Dawnwalker as a valuable addition to its portfolio. Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, VP of business development, commented, "This marks a significant step in our Western market strategy. By combining our strengths, we'll deliver this inaugural title to a global audience."

Co-founder and narrative director Jakub Szamalek, a nine-year CDPR writing veteran, confirms Dawnwalker as a new IP. The game's scope is anticipated to be comparable to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion, with a more non-linear narrative.

Tomaszkiewicz previously stated, "Our goal is to create an experience offering diverse choices and replayability through experimentation. Collaborating with such talented individuals to craft this experience is a privilege, and I eagerly await showcasing the team's work."
