Limited Banner Pity Carryover:

Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next limited-time banner. This means if you're close to pity on one limited banner, you can switch to another and still benefit from your accumulated pulls. This behavior was observed during the global launch with the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners and confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. The pity progress remains even after those banners are removed, carrying over to future limited banners.

Important Distinction: Limited vs. Standard Banners:

However, this carryover only applies to limited-time banners. Pity progress does not transfer between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner to approach pity and then switching to a limited banner for a guaranteed rate-up character.

While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase with each subsequent pull until you reach hard pity at 80.
