The remake, built using Unreal Engine 5, will feature substantial changes to the original game.

The portfolio highlights a complete reimagining of Oblivion. This includes overhauls to core mechanics such as stamina, stealth, attack blocking, archery, damage reactions, and the user interface. The blocking system, for instance, is said to be inspired by Soulslike games, addressing criticisms of the original's underwhelming implementation.
